As For Me and My House…
Meet Mike
Mike did not grow up on a farm, but he was surrounded by farmers. Grandpa McKay was a dairy and row crop farmer in Rushville, IN, and even through Mike’s dad was a pastor in rural farm communities, he was always a farmer at heart. After finishing an undergrad degree at Purdue, Mike taught for eleven years at Kankakee Valley HS, along with coaching football and baseball. He completed a Masters degree in School Administration at Indiana State in 2003, intending to become a principal or athletic director. Instead, in 2007 Mike accepted an offer to come into the family crop insurance business. The first two years in business were pretty lean as Mike learned the details of the trade, and he will always be grateful for the guys who placed more faith in a young agent than he probably deserved. From year three and on, Mike’s book of business grew exponentially, and after 18 years in business, Mike and Valerie acquired Timm Services.
Meet Valerie
Valerie married Mike in 1992 and graduated from Purdue a few years later with a degree in Management. She has been with Timm Services/Precision Crop Insurance since 1999. Her hobbies are crafting, reading, and especially enjoying grandkids time. She is active in church helping with the youth group, nursery, Mom2Mom childcare, and assistant treasurer just to name a few.
Meet Alex

During her time at Boyce she met her now Husband, Adam. They married in 2021, and in 2022 welcome a daughter, Myla, into the world. Alex has the sweet privilege of staying home with Myla while doing admin work for Precision Crop Insurance. Alex enjoys crafting, reading, and baking in her spare time.
